Educating means building together
With the Degree in Early Childhood Education at CCUC, affiliated with the University of Alcalá, you will be able to dedicate yourself to one of the most exciting professions and participate in a fundamental task of society: educating.
Work with children from 0 to 6 years old and contribute to their development, awakening their interest in the world through observation, exploration and play.
If you want English to be an essential part of your training, you can study this degree in a bilingual group.
You can simultaneously study Early Childhood Education and Primary Education and obtain two university degrees.
EDUCATIONAL AIMS AND COMPETENCES
This degree enable you as a Kindgarden teacher for the age 0 to 6 and it prepare you to face the next challenges:
- be able to contribute to the complete de contribuir al desarrollo integral de los niños y niñas, teniendo en cuenta su contexto familiar y sociocultural.
- Give answers to students needs.
- Be thoughful, creative and committed for interpret critically the reality, and, at the same time, adapt to a changing society.
- Develope their empathical skills to listen and understand the child.
- Create an friendly enviorement for everyone.
- Put servicies to the youngest the better of themselves and make them take part on the didactical and pedagogical.

- In public, subsidised and private school centres with children from 3 to 6 years of age.
- In public and private early childhood schools, with children from 0 to 3 years old.
- In other educational centres or organisations outside the school environment, with children from 0 to 6 years of age.
- In organisations and institutions such as museums, toy libraries, sports groups and more.
- Creating didactic materials, textbooks or educational software.

EXTERNAL STUDENT TEACHING
Throughout your studies in the Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, you will carry out external Student teaching in educational centres in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the Degree, during which you will learn alongside a tutor in an Early Childhood classroom and experience what you have learnt.
The student teaching subjects allow you to get to know innovative, committed and open educational centres that will provide you with significant and valuable experiences for your professional and personal development.
