With the Degree in Primary Education at CUCC at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, you will be able to dedicate yourself to one of the most exciting professions and participate in a fundamental task in society: educating.

Work with children from 6 to 12 years old and contribute to their growth, at a stage when they acquire the basic knowledge of our culture, helping them to understand the world around them through the observation and study of nature, artistic expression, music, language, literature, history or the practice of sport.

If you want English to be an essential part of your education, you can study this degree in a bilingual group.

You can simultaneously study Early Childhood Education and Primary Education and obtain two university degrees.

EDUCATIONAL AIMS AND COMPETENCES

This studies will train you as a Primary teacher for the educational stage of 6 to 12 years and prepare yourself to face the next challenges:

Contribute to the development and growth of children, taking into account their family and sociocultural environment.
Teach children to observe the world around them, to ask questions and interpret reality with the help of adults.
Awaken children’s interest in language, mathematics, music, nature or sports, through games and activities.
Create a welcoming environment inside and outside the classroom to facilitate their growth and learning.
Strengthen children’s ability to express themselves and communicate among themselves and with adults, through listening and respect.
