Spanish National Mobility – SICUE

The SICUE Programme (Exchange System between Spanish University Centres). Endorsed by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (spanish CRUE) to promote the mobility of undergraduate students between Spanish universities. Part of the studies can be carried out at a university other than one’s own, with full guarantee of academic recognition and suitability in terms of the participant’s educational background.

The International Relations Office offers 67 four-monthly and annual periods of stay in 18 universities in 7 Spanish Autonomous Communities (Andalusia, Asturias, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Community of Valencia, Galicia and Murcia).

European Mobility – ERASMUS +

Its best known facet is the promotion of international mobility of people for learning purposes, whether students, teachers or administrative and service staff (spanish PAS)

Movilidad entrante Universidad Cardenal Cisneros

Global Mobility – countries outside the Erasmus+ area.

The International Relations Office manages several Global Mobility Programmes dependents on the International section of the University of Alcalá.

CCUC has bilateral agreements with ten universities located in Brazil, Mexico, and Peru

In addition, our centre is part of the Marist International Network of Institutions of Higher Education. This is a body made up of more than thirty universities from all over the world (Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Philippines, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, USA, East Timor and Congo) that share the educational mission and the principles of identity, which promotes mobility among university students from Marist centres.

Degrees and Study Programme

Degrees are taught in Spanish. It is necessary to accredit a B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) to follow the programmes. If you do not reach this level or wish to improve it, the University of Alcalá has a Spanish as a Foreign Language Teaching Centre, called Alcalingua, which offers accredited courses in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

The Bilingual Programme (Spanish-English) of the CCUC provides a wide range of subjects in English in the Degrees of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, for which it is necessary to accredit a B1 level of English. In order to take the optional subjects of the English area of focus, a B2 level of English is required.

Admission to CCUC does not always guarantee that you will be able to enrol in all the subjects requested in your Learning Agreement, as some may have a limited number of places or overlapping timetables. The IRO will help you to resolve these issues.

Admission and Enrolment

As stated in the Admission and Enrolment Guide of the UAH, after the start of classes, the visiting student will receive a letter of payment with which he/she will be able to pay the enrolment fee within the established period. The CCUC is a private centre, affiliated with the University of Alcalá. This means that the student has to pay public fees to the UAH and other private teaching fees to the CCUC.

The public fees are structured in an amount to be paid for academic services and another one for administrative services and Academic Insurance. You have to know the total number of credits to be enrolled and multiply it by the credit value indicated in the Decree in order to calculate the total amount to be paid for academic services.

The private funding of Bachelor’s Degrees and Postgraduate Courses varies according to the number of credits enrolled by the visiting student in fees by online bill payment.

Visiting students coming from a University or Higher Education Centre belonging to the Marist International Network of Institutions of Higher Education will enjoy a 20% discount on the private cost.
